Thanks to the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, a complex set of challenges faces employers who wish to avoid discrimination against the disabled in the workplace.
This program turns these challenges into opportunities. One in six Americans has some form of disability: we learn the standards set by the law; the correct procedures for interviewing and evaluating job candidates to avoid discrimination; and the procedures for accommodating employees with disabilities.
The program utilizes the expertise and commentary of attorney Ralph Pond, co-chair of the employment law practice group at Lane Powell PC .
